Who are we?
Whiz Kidz Inc. is started by experienced professionals in the field of Science, Engineering, Technology, Engineering and Math with the objective of engaging the students in learning experiences that empower and enable them to use their creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking and logical reasoning to achieve the 21st-century skills to become effective learners, collaborators, communicators, and creators.
What do we do?
We provide age-appropriate STEM classes to the children of ages 5-12, in a variety of settings like after school enrichment classes, weekend classes, special events, birthday parties, summer, and spring break camps. We are proud of our approach to hands-on ’ science. We encourage students to develop good reading habits for science-related topics so that their knowledge is ever-expanding and not limited to what they learned from us in the classroom.
our classes
Our trained instructors will have the work area prepared for each student prior to the class. Each lesson begins with an introduction of the topic to raise curiosity and excitement amongst children. They will receive instructions about the activity both verbally and in writing. The instructor will monitor the progress of each student and navigate them towards the completion of the activity. The last 15 min. are reserved for open discussions to explore the reason behind the phenomenon the students observed during the lesson
Why STEM
Quality STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators along with encouraging experimentation, teamwork, knowledge application, creativity, and teaches problem-solving. STEM education is a need of the hour. “Education at all levels in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—STEM—develops, preserves, and disseminates knowledge and skills that convey personal, economic, and social benefits. Higher education provides the advanced work skills needed in an increasingly knowledge-intensive, innovation-focused economy and society.”
